It’s because WoW has a large player population. We might have a larger population than some minority groups.

Seriously, I think its more like “Polish” jokes. Some jokes about WoW players are made by WoW players themselves.

I don’t know! WoW is a fun game. It IS just like every other xbox/playstation/wii game except it’s a lot bigger and more fun! lol

You either understand WoW or you don’t. People fear what they don’t understand.
Also, it’s crazy addictive which can lead to bad press.
